The Porsche Taycan Turbo GT equipped with the Manthey Kit has set a new lap record for electric sports cars at the Nurburgring. It completed a lap in 6 min 55.533 seconds, beating the time set by the stock Taycan Turbo GT Weissach Package.
The Manthey kit for the Taycan Turbo GT features extensive aerodynamic, suspension and powertrain modifications. The overall downforce is said to have increased by 3X compared to the standard model, while the suspension has been further optimized for the track.

Manthey has also worked on the electric powertrain, which delivers 805 hp, around 27 hp more than the stock version. The Attack Mode now delivers up to 174 hp for 10 seconds.

“The Manthey Kit turns the Taycan Turbo GT with Weissach Package into the ultimate track tool. On the Nordschleife, you can feel how much more stability and confidence the car offers in fast sections and when braking,” Lars Kern, Porsche development driver, said. “Thanks to the significantly enhanced aerodynamics, tyres with even greater performance, and increased overboost power available at the touch of a button, we were able to beat our previous best times,” he added.
The Manthey Kit for the Porsche Taycan Turbo GT will be available from June 2026.
